Parents/guardians have a duty to assist ACPS schools in enforcing the standards of student conduct and compulsory school attendance. Parents/guardians have a responsibility to read and review the Code of Conduct with their children in order to promote proper student conduct and to ensure a safe and orderly learning environment. We strongly encourage families to meet with school officials if requested to discuss matters related to discipline and school attendance. The law also requires that parent/guardians sign a statement showing that they know their responsibilities. Please sign the ACPS Signature Form that is included in the Back-to-School Guide that acknowledges that you have read the Code of Conduct.
